Established in 2016, Planet Protector (PP) is committed to ridding the world of expanded polystyrene (EPS). PP manufactures WOOLPACK, a disruptive insulated packaging solution that serves as a building block for the circular economy.

WOOLPACK, a sustainable and cost-competitive alternative to EPS, is made from 100% coarse sheep wool unsuitable for textiles, that would otherwise end up in landfills. This award-winning innovation thermally outperforms Styrofoam and is used to ship everything from meal kits, seafood, meat, dairy, and chocolate through to pharmaceuticals, vaccines, chemotherapy, IVF and pathology.

Planet Protector works with businesses to understand their supply chain needs and deliver ‘fit for purpose’ solutions. WOOLPACK offers significant cost benefits in warehouse storage space and materials handling, along with a lower carbon footprint. PP supports businesses in achieving their ESG goals and decarbonising supply chains.
