Allegro Energy is an Australian company revolutionising energy storage with its unique Microemulsion Flow Battery (MeFB) technology. Allegro workers Olivia Small (left), a lab scientist, and colleague Jay Tennant, a stack technician, build a battery stack cell. Made of layer of graphite plates, electrodes and a membrane. These cells will eventually go into building a large battery for Origin Energy where the company’s water-based electrolyte storage solution will replace lithium.
